I am born and bred here in Southwestern Pennsylvania where the land is rich in history. Being able to have the ability to visit sites where those who fought for our freedom, to walk on the same land; is something I love about Southwestern PA. To see what our founding fathers accomplished all those years ago to have the land of opportunity we have today ... I get chills. Fireworks on the 4th bring me to tears reminding me of how patriotic our family is and how proud we are of that. My father (when he was alive), fought in the Korean War. We (my husband and I) always make a point when we see a servicemember out in public to thank them for their service.
250 years of freedom !!! Happy 4th of July !!!
